He spent the last 8 years at Gartner, as a VP of Research focusing on logistics strategy, delivery processes and innovative technologies that impact transportation. Prior to Gartner, he has 20+ years of supply chain, logistics, and technology experience across North America and Europe, working for shippers as well as 3PL/asset-based companies including PepsiCo, Elemica, Penske Logistics, GE Capital, EY and more.

Christian is responsible for research with leading supply chain universities and building project44’s global Scope 3 sustainability initiatives. Prior he was Vice President of Value Engineering where he was responsible for building customer relationships while helping them understand project44's Return on Investment and unique value proposition. He joined project44 after 4 years with Amazon Transportation Services. Christian is a leader of the Digital LTL Council; an Adjunct Lecturer at DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business; an Instructor / SME for University of Tennessee’s Executive Education for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA); and Vice President of CSCMP Chicago Roundtable. Christian has been quoted in several publications, including Forbes, Inbound Logistics, Supply Chain Brain, and Food Logistics.
